Recent Recognition

Diana Chamberlain and Leta Sanchez are both proud to give back to their communities. They were each recently recognized for their contributions.

Elected by Her Peers

Diana Chamberlain has been elected by her peers as the 2021 Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Washington state chapter. In this leadership role, sits on the Executive Committee where she provides direction and guidance to our chapter, and she serves as a liaison between the state chapter and AILA national. Through this volunteer work, Diana engages in national advocacy efforts and facilitates communication between government agencies and immigration attorneys helping advocates to better serve their clients.

Helping Immigrant Families Meet Basic Needs

Leta Sanchez was honored with the 2021 AILA Chapter Pro Bono Champion Award.  Leta received this award for her work with a local non-profit, Immigrant Resources and Immediate Support (IRIS), which strives to meet the basic needs of immigrant families in times of crisis.
